ArchitectureHaving more than five foils, lobes or articulated divisions, e.g., multifoil window or multifoil arch
In French, "foil" means "leaf." The number of foils involved is indicated by a prefix, e.g. trefoil, quatrefoil, cinquefoil, sexfoil, mouchette
