Guiding notions:  I see architecture as an art form.  Like films, the form is complicated because it involves a great deal of collaboration.  In a sense, this website is a search for beauty.

2015 - The Collectors Weekly: Collectors Weekly Hall of Fame Saluting Great Collections  (Online Dec. 2015)

2014 - Community Contribution Award given by Graycliff Conservancy

2012 - The Friends of Architecture Award given by The American Institute of Architects Buffalo/WNY Chapter.

2010 - The Owen B. Augspurger award, which recognizes local historians devoted to the preservation of Erie County's heritage,  given by the Buffalo History Museum.

2006 and 2007 - First Place in the Buffalo Spree "Best of Buffalo: Website" category.

2002 - Award given by the mayor of Buffalo, Anthony Masiello, and the Buffalo Preservation Board "for creating countless web sites for historic properties ... educating the person who logs on about the history of both the building and its architecture."
