Sconce
Type of light fixture affixed to a wall
A candle holder, or a holder of another light source, that is attached to a wall with an ornamental bracket.
Sconces can be placed on both the interior and exterior walls of buildings.
Historically, candle sconces were often made of silver from the 17th century, with porcelain coming in in the 18th.
