Segmental
Segmental arch: Arch made of less than half of a circle, the curve ending sharply. An elliptical arch.
Segmental corners: The corners of a rectangular panel that are broken into curves. The cutout corners are frequently decorated with patera or rosettes.
Often used by the Adam brothers for ceiling, walls, and doors. Also used during the Régence.

Segmental front / bow front Term used to describe a chest with a slight swell, or bow, in the center
Segmental pediment / round pediment: Unbroken curved pediment, the arc of a circle
