From 1931-1952, new pointed Gothic-style stained glass windows were installed, replacing the handsome but plain round Romanesque Revival windows by Tiffany Studios. The Gothic Revival windows are similar in design and fabrication to those found in the 12th and 13th century cathedrals in Europe. Each window has four large medallions, with two half medallions between them. The only window below that has a separate photo of the half medallions is the "Creation" window.
The correct viewing order of the medallions is from the bottom up.
The windows were designed by four of the leading artists associated with the Gothic Revival in America: Henry Willet of Philadelphia; and Wilbur Burnham, Charles J. Connick, and Joseph Reynolds of Boston.
