This house and 806 (now #800) Delaware Avenue were part of the same 4.3 acre lot. At one time the backyards of the two houses were landscaped as one.

This house was built as a wedding present for Seymour, Jr. from his mother, Grace Millard Knox who lived in 806 Delaware. He lived here throughout his married life.
