stepped foot into 884 Main Street a couple of
years ago, it was totally gutted, and my heart
sank. The last time I had been in the building
it was Roxy’s [See second above photo]. After
the shock subsided, a sense of dread took
hold. I thought to myself, 'Who the heck is
going to save this incredible
structure?' Little
did I know that there was a savior on the
horizon – one by the name of Michael Lignos,
owner of MTL Contracting Company."

The downtown Buffalo café brings the full Kaylena Marie’s experience to the heart of the city’s Main Street corridor, serving the brand’s legendary oversized cinnamon rolls, great-great-Nana’s cannolis, edible cookie dough, fresh-baked daily breads, cinnamon roll French toast, homemade granola, breakfast sandwiches on house-baked bread, mac and cheese, soups, and gourmet desserts in a cozy sit-down café setting.” – Visit Buffalo (online July 2026) Dentil molding Corinthian column, modified with Tuscan style necking Eastlake style windows Eastlake style window Left bay . |
