Section 9, Lot 227
Date of Death: 5/3/1923
(Social Activist)

Harrit is the daughter of Frederick Buell, first President of Western Reserve College (now known as Western Reserve University) and Eliza M. Storrs Buell.
She grew up at 155 Park St., Buffalo, NY.

Mrs. Mynter is the 2nd Wife of Dr. Herman Mynter, prominent Buffalo physician and surgeon.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), member of the Education and Fine Arts subcommittees of the Board of Women Managers for the Pan American Exposition held in Buffalo in 1901, and attended "Saturday Class. "

(Since it was frowned on in the late 19th/early 20th century for women, especially women of means, to participate in "formal education," the "Saturday Class" was a way that women would attend lectures on a variety of topics including the arts and prominent social issues of the day.)
