(Scientist; Pioneer; Teacher)Anna Burrell was born in 1902. She received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 1926 and a Ph.D. in Psychology and Human Relations from NYU.
Pioneer among black teachers at Buffalo State College; proclaimed "Buffalo Women of the Year" among eight others in 1953. Director of Human Relations Workshops at Buffalo State.
