Edward and Mary Kendrick House
260 Crescent Avenue, Buffalo, NY

Erected:

1890
Announced by Maher in the May 1889 Inland Architect and News Record (Chicago)

Architect:

George W. Maher (Chicago)

House is similar to half a dozen or so others designed by Maher, and several designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Maher and Frank Lloyd Wright both trained in the office of Joseph Silsbee. Maher is usually thought of as a Prarie style architect. This house shows the influence of both Silsbee's Queen Anne houses, as well as Prarie style.
