The Roycroft Power House
was built in 1910 to furnish heat and electricity to the entire Campus
through an underground piping system. Destoryed by a fire in 1997,
there was little remaining of the original structure. [The reconstruction] was completed in 2012. The Power House is now a center for education and creativity. It serves as the welcome center for visitors, a classroom for artisan workshops, and a meeting place for the Campus, the community, and guests. |
