When Mrs. Knox died in 1926, she was a well-known social leader and philanthropist. Mrs. Knox was a supporter of many charities, including the Albright Art Gallery, University of Buffalo, and the Buffalo Museum of Science. [Her son, Seymour Knox II, will become the main contributor of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.]
