July 1971.
The base structure is octagonal.
The central portion of the building, between the front wings, is carried up through
telescopic narrowings to an octagonal drum, supporting a
crown of polychrome terra-cotta tiles, surmounted by a step-faceted glass dome. The
octagonal tower seems to be in the process of thrusting itself upward, as though
it were alive and growing.
