No. 18, a flat-roofed Italianate built in 1869 sports an exquisite segmental center projecting cornice which is underpinned by a dentilated frieze and modillion bracketing while four massive brackets of complex []Italianate] scroll work support the whole projection at its points of segmentation.

First floor window obviously not original. Note brick work above it.

"... segmental center projecting cornice which is underpinned by a dentilated frieze and modillion bracketing" ..... Keystones in window crowns .....  In flanking windows, rounded window tops have been filled in to reduce the expense of glass replacement

Modillions supporting cornice ... Dentils ..... Keystones in center of voussoirs ..... Typical Italianate, locally produced orange bricks have been painted

Original brick work clearly indicates that the modern windows are  not original.
