Entrance from lake side to bridge over Big Sister Creek. Albert Ahlers says his father worked the farm for Deacon Bennett in 1888-89 and they lived in south wing of big house. The Bennetts were keeping summer boarders at that time. This was the only foot bridge across the creek. Both the Homestead and Pine Lodge used it. Once at flood time he could not get over the road bridge so he went across this bridge and walked to school on the high bank on the other side.
