"I have just translated a book from Danish to English. It is about the Danish pastor and playwright Kaj Munk. He was a very well known figure in the period leading up to, and including, WWII. He was murdered by the Nazis on January 4, 1944. He was too outspoken, critical of the occupation, and despite many warnings refused to keep quiet. He became Denmark's most well known martyr."

"One of the panes in the beautiful stained glass windows at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo has Kaj Munk's name, together with the martyrs Jan Huss, Girolamo Savonarola, and Saint Stephen. The windows were given to the church, and dedicated on September 12, 1948. So it was an early recognition of Kaj Munk here in America." - Brian Young, Port Townsend, WA (July 2011)
