| The Corn Hill section of Rochester contains many Greek Revival residences. Greek Revival buildings of brick or stone, are not uncommon, but most are of wood. Wood of excellent quality was abundant and cheap. The builders sometimes cut or otherwise fashioned the wood to resemble stone. |
