Agios Nectarios Monastery on the Island of Aegina

6km out of Aegina town is the Monastery dedicated to Saint Nectarios, Greece's most recent Saint, who lived at the Monastery for 22 years until he died in 1921. He was canonized in 1961. His church, one of the largest Orthodox cathedrals in Greece, is where Agios Nectarios is worshipped as a miraculous healer.
