2003 photos of the Library - The Lockwood House
844 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, N.Y.

In 1918, Thomas B. Lockwood bought and remodeled 844 Delaware Avenue. He made the library the largest room in the house: 40 by 40 feet.

Lockwood is remembered chiefly for his 1935 gift of the Lockwood Memorial Library (named after him) and his book collection to the University of Buffalo. For a description of his book collection, see Thomas B. Lockwood Collection (The Poetry/Rare Books Collection)
