	Detail - East window over the High Altar In the lower panel of the middle column are the figures of Mary and John at the foot of the Cross. Iconography in Art and Architecture: Crucifixion The inscription reads "Behold thy Son" revealing the theme of this window, which is based on the Gospel according to St. John the Evangelist (John 19:25-27).
