German-American Brewery and Hall (18932) and (1895)
Southeast corner of Main and High Streets
Photo ca. 1907

Designed prior to partnership by August C. Esenwein

This brewery symbolized Buffalo's rich German heritage, and was designed in a vaguely Romanesque style. The brewery was converted into apartments during the 1920s, and may be demolished soon.

The hall, which included a restaurant and roof garden, was razed in 1955.
