Grace Episcopal Church stained glass windows - for both the original 1855 and the rebuilt 1976 churches - were designed and fabricated by the J & R Lamb Studios.
The Baptism window shown on this page has Artist Margreta Overbeck's signature. According to J&R Lamb Studios Owner Donald Samick in 2009, all windows in the church were designed by Overbeck.
Altar stained glass window is composed of three lancets:
Left: Epiphany with the Three Kings visiting the baby Jesus
Center: Ascension in the presence of the eleven apostles and St. Mary
Right: Annunciation, showing the Archangel Gabriel announcing Jesus' birth to the Virgin MaryThe Baptism stained glass window, located behind the Baptismal Font, depicts the Baptism of Jesus by his cousin St. John Baptist, as the voice of God the Father (the golden pane at the top of the window) declares Jesus to be His Son, as the Holy Spirit descends upon Jesus as a dove, in the first explicit revelation of the Holy Trinity.
