The original driveway piers (reconstructed with the original Tichenor limestone rocks)

The 8.5 acre property was purchased from the neighboring Dexter Rumsey estate. Originally, there was a right of way for a diagonal driveway through the two piers and onto the Rumsey estate.

The present driveway to the right of the piers is on land that was later purchased from the Rumsey estate.
